At its heart The Dreaming Place is a transformational journey of trance healing music – channeled sounds using vibraphone & voice for the purpose of meditation, healing, expansion, and inspiration. These sounds guide an internal journey many have found transporting and transcendent.

Chris explores the intersections of meditation, trance, and energetic healing through music improvisation. Drawing upon a history of deep study and performance, having worked with legendary artists Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter, and many of today’s jazz, creative, and world music luminaries. He brings together this background with a host of studies and influences from around the world in service of taking listeners on a journey to a transcendent place.
Chris has brought his special brand of healing music far and wide, from concert venues throughout the US, to retreat centers, sound healing, meditation, ecstatic dance, and mediumship events, to medical conferences, hospitals, hospice, and addiction recovery centers. Recent events have taken place at Omega Institute (Rhinebeck), The Rubin Museum of Art (NYC), UC San Diego, Philosophical Research Society (Los Angeles), Timucua Arts (Orlando), Atlantic Center for the Arts (FL), Constellation (Chicago), Lawrence University (WI), and many others.
