Meet Jonathan

Educational Learning Designer & Former Special Education Teacher

Jonathan brings 9+ years of educational experience and a Master's in Learning Analytics from Columbia University to create inclusive, play-based learning environments. As a former special education teacher, he understands that children learn best when they can explore, create, and discover at their own pace.

His approach combines outdoor education principles with child-directed learning, ensuring every participant feels valued and engaged in their natural learning journey.

Learning happens naturally when children:

  1. Dig into composting and soil exploration

  2. Plant, tend, and harvest seasonal crops

  3. Discover farming techniques through play

  4. Create art with natural materials

  5. Follow their interests in unstructured outdoor time
