Old Friends New Works

  • 3301 Route 207 in the Barn Goshen, New York USA (map)

When? Weekends 11AM-4PM, May 24 Through June 21 Opening/Closing Receptions on those dates 2-4

Where? In the Barn at Goshen Green Farm

What? A group show of multidisciplinary artists who have known each other from childhood. Friendships reaching back to kindergarten, primary school and the shared experiences of an experimental, alternative high school graduating class of 1975. Our years together in that age of creativity and camaraderie formed connections that have continued through the intervening years. Each following their own path, expressing their creative selves personally and professionally, they come together again to share New Works with Old Friends.

Beth Klingher

An artist and educator all her life she is intrigued with the textures and patterns, the intricacies of creating a work of art one tiny piece at a time. Mosaic landscapes – both realistic and abstract – reflect or make sense of the world as she sees it.

As one reviewer stated: “Each of her imaginative mosaic constructions is a symphony of visual and tactile materials– glass, ceramic, stone, and pottery. This lively exhibit of abstract geometric designs, stunning undulating landscapes and playful patterns of color is a joyful concert for the eye that is not to be missed.” Bethklingher.com
